The Archive of Misheard Lyrics reminds me of a story the love of my life, viagra buy case Melinda, buy viagra likes to tell.
When the song Voices Carry¬† came out in the 1980s, she thought the title was actually “This is Carrie.”
So, as you can imagine, her call to a local radio station to request her new favorite song ended with predictable results.
DJ: “Hi. What would you like to hear?”
My girl: “This is Carrie.”
DJ: “Hello Carrie. What would you like to hear?”

I had a friend that sang Whip It! with the line “Tatoo the taffee”. What! The line is “try to detect it. It’s not to late to Whip It, Whip It Good.” The best advice is to not try to correct the person. Just sing the incorrect words with them.
