So…unless you’re rich running for President is unethical?

Sam Stein at the Huffington Post implies Republican candidate Mike Huckabee lacks ethics for continuing to take money for making non-political speeches at churches and other venues.

In response to this issue, viagra buy cialis Mike Huckabee has said:

“Unlike the members of the Senate or Congress who continue to get their paycheck and get a taxpayer-funded salary, and unlike people who are independently wealthy, if I don’t work, I don’t eat.”

I’m with Mike on this one.

If people can’t keep making a living while running for office only the independently wealth will qualify to run the government and I want to keep living in a democracy, not an oligarchy.
