One of the reasons I’m not religious:

Because many religions tell me I’ll end up in exactly the same Hell as a man who shot three of his own children, viagra buy cialis unless I absolutely believe whatever their particular dogma happens to be that day.

On behalf of the Christians who read this blog, let me say I’m sorry for whatever bad taste we have collectively left in your mouth. It’s not supposed to be that way.

Thank you, Coop. That was very nice of you.

Most of my regular visitors are both good Christians and great people.

    I completely respect their beliefs.

I also tried very hard to join their ranks.

In the end, I just couldn’t find the honest faith that real belief requires. (And you’re right, much of what I witnessed during years of going to different churches left a decidedly bad taste in my mouth.)

Maybe one day, God and I will find some common ground. Until then, He and I will have to just keep trying. ;)

I think of myself as an apathetic agnostic–don’t know, don’t care…

I’ve been an agnostic since I learned the meaning of the word. I can’t tell you how relieved I was to discover that there wasn’t only two official stances on the whole God thing.
