Oh man, the journalism teacher just got schooled.

March 14th, 2006

I thought the shot that Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporters Spivak & Bice took at journalism professor and blogger Jessica McBride a few weeks ago was painful…

…but that was a love tap compared to the mugging they performed on her today:

Hmmm, cialis usa ambulance both sides are mad at us, viagra buy here something that should please just about any journalism teacher, except, that is, McBride.

I don’t know what she did to piss these guys off…

…but they should probably watch themselves…

…the woman has a blog and she’s not afraid to use it.

I thought they handled the contrasts with their usual mushy blather. They never really took a stand and whatever they did to Bucher can hardly be called an admonition, much less any kind of meaningful censure.

The best part about Bucher’s post is her admission that those who disagree with Pistol Packin’ Paul are no better than criminals and needn’t be acknowledged. I hardly expect her to change her mind, that slammed shut years ago. I just can’t wrap myself around the fact that someone professing to be a journalist and setting herself up as an example wouldn’t at least try to figure out what the other side is trying to say.

Hell, even I read Peter’s blog once in a while.

I can only speak for my own reaction Grumps.

When I read their post it felt like a personal attack on McBride.

I sometimes think this whole blogging thing might be a bit too rough and tumble for my gentle soul. ;)

I don’t profess to be a journalist obliged to weigh all sides. I consider myself an opinion writer. I write opinion, and I put my thoughts and logic out there like everyone else in the blogosphere, no more and no less.

    Hang on a second…

    …we’re allowed to use logic?

Why didn’t someone mention that to me earlier?
