Odds of John McCain picking independent Democrat Joe Lieberman as his running mate?

I think it’s better than 50/50.

And what will conservatives do then?

Hell, they weren’t gonna vote for McCain, anyway!

Too bad Condi won’t jump on board. I’d like to see liberals’ heads ‘splode.

I actually think Condi is McCain’s best chance to win, but apparently she just ain’t gonna do it. :(

Condi would be fodder for the Dems. She would be instantly painted as the face of the Iraq Debacle, which is already amazingly unpopular.

Accusers would be instantly deemed sexist and racist.

“painted” “face” <- just goes to show how racist dems can be.

    (I’m completely kidding)

Good catch, Fuzz. Being liberal, “face paint” isn’t part of my normal vocabulary. ;)

Another one I’ve heard is NYC Mayor Bloomberg. Worse than Lieberman? Oh hell yes.

His best bets are the governors from either Alaska or Louisiana.

I agree, Elliot, although I’m also predicting that at least one, if not both campaigns will pick a woman.
