Negatory on the affirmative action there, good buddy.

August 3rd, 2006

In an opinion piece about racial unrest between officers in the Milwaukee Police Department, cialis sale advice Milwaukee Journal Sentinel columnist Eugene Kane laments:

It’s the same sad old story in Milwaukee: When black folks get hired or promoted, troche it’s all about “affirmative action.” When white folks get promoted, there’s seldom a question raised about their “qualifications.”

I have a real simple solution for that problem, Eugene…

…get rid of affirmative action.

That way when a black or hispanic gets promoted everyone will recognize that it only happened because they earned it.

I’m with you on that one. I actually knew a girl in college who was black and was upset about affirmative action and minority-based scholarships because she felt like it looked like she’d been given a shortcut over white people.

But to end affirmative action would be to admit that everyone is equal, and we can’t do that!
