Milwaukee or Madison?

June 15th, 2006

Over at Leaning Blue they are having a joshing little argument about which city is better Milwaukee or Madison?

All fun and games aside, buy cialis stuff the lovely lifestyle in Madison is completely subsidized by the gobs of money they extort from the rest of the state in the form of taxes.

The fact that folks in Milwaukee actually work for a living is enough for me to declare Milwaukee the fairer city.

(And, sickness of course, seek Milwaukee has everything Madison does plus a GREAT lake, two professional sports teams, and Summerfest. It really is no contest.)

Well, I lived in Madison about 16 years ago. Not bad then, but now? No way. As for Milwaukee, I’m basically a small town guy. Nice place to visit, especially since Mom lives in Waukesha, but, I couldn’t live there. Too many people.

Madison has one of the lowest crime rates in the United States. The people in Madison are much more educated than Milwaukee. So I would much rather live in Madison than Milwaukee.

Ever wonder why you’re all educated Tim? Taxes. We paid for all of your lovely education… you pay for jack in Milwaukee.
