I’m about to anger a bunch of animal lovers
January 12th, 2009
I was listening to Fresh Air on NPR, buy viagra buy viagra when I heard Veterinarian Nick Trout talking about how some of his patients think their animals are their children.
Speaking as someone who has had four dogs, viagra sale five cats, and two children….pets are not equal to children.
It’s not even close.

I’m wondering how long it will be before someone points out the appropriateness of a guy named “Trout” being a vet.
I wonder if he fishes.

I’d have to agree….as a parent and a pet owner, I don’t consider my pets to be equals to my children, nor do I think I ever could.

As a corollary: We will tolerate your children. We are not obligated to tolerate your pets.

And besides, pets are usually better behaved and smarter than a lot of kids.

As the mother of 4 children and an owner of 2 dogs and 1 cat. The 2 main differences I’ve witnessed seem to be:
1 – My children have never eaten a remote, or cell phone nor do they enjoy eating dirty kleenex from the trash can.
2 – My dogs wake up VERY happy, even pleased to start a new day, never crying or grumpy…
:)
