I think all this talk about the minimum markup law is giving me gas.

May 5th, 2006

On WPR this morning, viagra sales viagra I heard some Democrat in the state assembly say something like “the people who want to get rid of the minimum markup law haven’t shown any proof that repealing it will lower the price of gas in Wisconsin!”

To which I say…then why the hell are you fighting it?

The stupidity of that dems statement made my head hurt. I swear if I was in the assembly I would bring my Ipod and not listen to a thing anyone on the left said in debate. I mean these people speak and everyone in the room is dumber for having heard them speak.

Plus it would save some rage outburst on my part.

When I spoke with Senator Grothman about minimum markup, he immediately told me about how repealing minimum markup would allow Wal*Mart to come in and start selling cheap gas. Then we would all be in trouble because mom and pop shops, you know, like Mobil, would go out of business. Whatever. I could not believe I heard that out of the mouth of a republican; especially a republican who replaced another republican in the most conservative county in the state.
