I lean libertarian, but Reason magazine is being unreasonable…

…when they criticize Apple for banning Apps that Include DUI Checkpoints.
1.) Apple is a private company and they can decided what apps they want to sell through their store front.
2.) Driving while intoxicated is a crime (often a lethal one) and “freedom” doesn’t require a corporation to aid and abet the commission of a crime.
3.) Should Apple also have to allow apps that enable Pedophiles to post the locations of five-year-old cuties? I think most of the arguments Reason makes about the DUI apps would apply to a Cutie-Spotter app.
I don’t always agree with Apple’s decisions, viagra sale search but I think Reason has no reason to criticize them in this particular instance.

Yeah, but if they didn’t publish articles like that, then the Libertarians wouldn’t be able to debate who is more consistent in their Libertarian principles.
