It wasn’t. The Honorable James Doyle would NEVER mislead the public?! I’m shocked, shocked, I say, at the insinuation…. Yea, right.

There wasn’t a deficit last year. Headline in the paper notwithstanding, the “deficit” is the projected shortfall in the next biennium between the wishlists and expected revenue.
Sheesh.

And there was no way to know this before the election? Of course not. How silly of people to think the governor knew about next year, which is only a month away.
