Agreed, Elliot. Something like 43 straight months of unemployment over 8%. Some 360,000 stopped looking for work, which is almost four times the number of jobs created in the same period.
When that number is higher than the number of jobs we’re creating, that’s a trend that should alarm everyone.
Every time Obama blames Bush for this continued mess, he’s admitting he is powerless to fix it.

And yet… it looks like Obama is getting a decent bounce and is now beating Romney past the margin of error.
As George Will said over the weekend..
“If the Republican Party can’t win in this (economic) environment, it ought to get out of politics.”
Personally, I think Romney is the empty chair. Its not surprising to me he can’t win.

I guess we shouldn’t forget that FDR was re-elected in the midst of the Great Depression.
