“Equality and justice?”

That’s what Christine Neumann-Ortiz of the immigrant lobbying organization Voces de la Frontera said she wants for illegal immigrants in an interview on WUWM this morning.

How is giving “immigrants” who break the law the same rights and opportunities as immigrants who don’t equal and just?

I mean it.

Is the willful decision to ignore the law morally equal to making an extraordinary effort to follow it?

What is just about rewarding people who break the law to the same degree as people who obey it?
