Clinton outlines anti-crime plan

A Democrat outlining an anti-crime plan sounds like a Republican outlining a new plan to enforce Affirmative Action…possible, best viagra sickness for sale but not probable.

Notice, between one to two years after Clinton took office, the violent crime rate began a decline that continued every year he was in office, and beyond.
If you want to state that a Republican president is harder on crime and lowers it more significantly, the past 30 years in statistics don’t follow and, thus, you need to reevaluate your belief system.
If you want to claim that the president has, overall, only slight control of it (and thus dismiss the rates as being due to Clinton’s philosophy) then maybe we can find some form of agreement.

I think the Federal government Constitutionally has no place in local crime enforcement AND I think that the President has little impact on either crime or the economy.
Plus, I think the author of Freakonomics is more likely to be right that increased abortion rates had a larger impact on crime than anything Clinton did.
