A friend asked me why I thought Air America failed
May 3rd, 2010
And I told him that even the most devote left-wing listeners could only stand to listen to so much talk about how they’re…
• causing global warming
• poisoning children with pesticides
• allowing people to die in Darfur
• not paying for everyone else’s health insurance
• using products tested on defenseless animals
• not paying enough in taxes
• discriminating against someone somewhere
• etc…etc…
…before they just had to turn off the radio.

And having to listen to Al Franken has to be hell on earth.

Or it could be that Liberals are out doing something and don’t need to sit by the radio having their feelings validated.
What is the Sykes show butthe constant repitition of, “It’s okay. It’s okay?”

I tried listening to Air America on my sat radio in the rig. Couldn’t do it. For the same reason I can’t listen to Savage. Way too nasty. Savage is a smart man, and he has some good points. The problem is, you have to listen to all the nastiness to get to it. The Air America people were worse, in my biased opinion. I tried Thom Hartman for a while, until he went off the deep end. I still catch Rush once in a while, sometimes Sykes, or Bader up here in the Bay. At some point it just gets repetitive. For Hannity, about 2 shows.
