A few of the things I agree with the Left about:
November 13th, 2006
- Alternative fuels – I’d like it if I never had to think about the Middle East again.
- Separation of church and state.
- The environment needs to be protected (we only get one Earth).
- Free speech – (if only they still believed in it as strongly).
- Racism is bad (Now if they only understood that Affirmative Action is racist).
- Sexism is bad.
- Financial aid for college students is an investment.
- Developers suck.
- Macintoshes rock.

I’m glad someone’s admitting they agree with the “other side.” I had a very long post typed up on another blog that I ultimately didn’t make because I wasn’t sure if anyone would understand. (It was about the Rudy Giuliani gun control thing.) Someone ELSE posted recently wondering why people voted Democratic when the economy was doing well. The answer is simple. Less and less of the sheep that make up 99% of the voting populace have any sort of education about any issue except the one(s) they care about. I think, and this is just a guess, you would find that ultimately a SINGLE issue decides a person’s voting choice. That’s pretty sad.

And this year – I’m at a loss as to what that issue was Buzz. It certainly was not taxes, corruption, violence in the inner city, improving public education in Milwaukee, ethics, bringing more jobs to Wisconsin, or putting an end to out-of-control state spending.
Was is Iraq? And- if it was Iraq… seriously – what is the Governor of Wisconsin going to do about it? Are people really that … well… ignorant?
