What’s so conservationist about irreversibly piping water from the Great Lakes into the DESERTS of the American Southwest?

I guess building de-salinization plants up the Pacific coast, then piping it inland hasn’t crossed their minds. I believe a number of countries in the Middle East do this. Why not here?

Hell, California is pissed off at Utah because we won’t pipe water from our rivers to California. We have trouble getting enough to use here at home.

Isn’t our lake level down, anyways?

Can we send them some asian carp in that pipeline once they get here?

I’m sorry, Phel. Trying to deport only the Asian carp would be racist.

    ;)

We’ll send them the zebra mussels too.
