You’d think a math genius…

And yet this man is refusing to accept the one million dollar prize he earned for apparently solving one of the world’s most intractable math problems.

And while I’m no math genius, that certainly doesn’t add up to me.

    It makes sense to me… he’s a nut job. This is what nut jobs do.

    There may be something contractual that is not public knowledge about the award that he is turning down.

    For example if he were to accept the $1 million in prize money he may have to sign a contract prohibiting him from entering other contests at which he could make even more money.
