    They may have an exemption, just like the Amish do.
    If there is a religous reason why you don’t buy insurance, you can be exempted.

    Christian Scientists work towards healing rather than taking legal action to solve problems. We do not have an exemption. We would like spiritual care and healing coverage to be available for all, so we are working to have private insurance companies include it as a coverage option as it now is in Medicare, in Federal and Military coverage, and in some state employee plans.
