Who are you more afraid of?

March 25th, 2007

Given the recent shooting of an unarmed man at a gas station in the middle of the day in Milwaukee, viagra buy advice Phelony at the Confidentials asks if her readers would be willing to carrry a guy for self-defense despite the fact that there is no concealed carry law in Wisconsin.

In other words, discount cialis are you willing to risk going to jail to protect your life?

She didn’t know it, but what she was really asking is:

…who are you more afraid of…the bad guys…or your own government?

I had kind of thought more along these lines…

….are you willing to wait for someone else to ensure your safety.

The question you just stated would be valid even if we had a carry permit in this state. Each person would still have to ask themselves if they were willing to protect their own life.

My point is – in this state – before you can pose that question, you have to ask yourself if you’re willing to break the law and go to prison in order to protect your own life.

It’s obscene that our own government (and the liberals who run it in Madison and Milwaukee) ensures that law-abiding people are disarmed when confronted by criminals. The politicians are worse than the criminals. The criminals only want to take away your belongings and maybe your life. The politicians have taken away your very ability to fight for your life. As far as I’m concerned, everyone who is in favor of gun control in this country may as well be physically holding the victims down while they’re being raped, robbed or shot.

I’m sorry if that hurts some of my reader’s feelings, but that’s the practical effect of every gun control law ever passed.

I’m gonna go to bed now, because I think I might have bronchitis and I’m afraid that I’m not making myself as clear as I would like.
