…some folks on the left call them idiots for voting “against their economic interests.”
But when Warren Buffet supports Democrats because he wants them to act against his economic interests, he’s a genius.

Or perhaps it’s because Buffet knows that working families support the upper class so acting “against his short term economic interests” (such as taxes) actually benefits his economic interests in the long term.
But that’s too difficult of a concept to condense down to a sound-bite that can make a good blog one-liner or a slogan that Republican minded voters can actually understand.

Elliot, ever notice that the evil the liberals claim resides within the hearts of rich people (after all, how’d they get all that money) magically evaporates when they support the Democrat Party?

Right up there with the logic that less taxation and more money in their pocket motivates rich people to wave their magic wand to create demand from thin air, and therefore create jobs, and that when a poor person has more money or opportunities or education, it only causes dependency.
