What taxes are for

April 1st, 2008

Someone left the following comment on a post at the Wisconsin blog Right from the Right

“we have a fundamental disagreement on the use of taxes.”

Which made me realize:

  • The Left thinks taxes are for funding entitlements and redistributing wealth.
  • The Right thinks taxes are for the common defense.
  • And Libertarians, discount viagra hospital like me, ed think taxes are for the birds.
