U.S-backed government in Iraq?

October 23rd, 2006

I just heard an NPR reporter use the phrase “U.S.-backed government in Iraq.”

I’m sure he meant to say, cialis advice “the democratically-elected government of Iraq.”

I’m sure he meant “the puppet government in Iraq directed by the illegitimate president of the United States, who was handed the election by the partisan Supreme Court in spite of a majority of the country voting for Al Gore.”

Of course, an interesting question is: Would there be a democrat government in Iraq without the backing of the U.S.-led coalition?
