Google accidently deleted their own blog on blogger.com.

What sort of care do you think they are taking of yours?

Waht’s the cost of one separate from blogger? Any special software needed? I’ve been pondering such a move for a while now.

If you use the WordPress hosted solution, I think it’s free.

But I wouldn’t recommend that, either.

Personally, I’m hosted on the same server that hosts my business web site in New Jersey. I think I paid around $150 for the year. Then I installed the free stand-alone WordPress software.

You need to be a little web savvy before going that route though.

Yeah, that’s true. It took me a bit of work, but when I finally made the switch to my own server, it was the best blog-decision I’ve made.

I use Surpass Hosting and my plan is about $65/year…then I got my domain name from GoDaddy for less than $10/year
