I spotted this headline in the
Free immunizations for Milwaukee students
Why do people always call the goodies handed out by government programs “free”?
They’re not free, they’re paid for by the taxpayers.

I don’t remember the person, but I remember the quote. “Today’s promises are tomorrow’s taxes.”

And probably paid for at a 200% mark-up to ensure those union workers get to keep all those expensive benefits, pensions, etc. denied to the rest of us.
