    I hate those commercials. If I want to see Transformers I’ll go to the movie. Here’s a case of product placement run amok. They made Jazz a Pontiac Solstice instead of a Porche. The car shapes are a little similar, but it’s not the same.

    And don’t get me started with not making Optimus Prime a Mac truck.

    Actually, my point was the movie itself is a commercial for G.M.

    All the cars are now G.M. vehicles.

    The GM commercials are lame too. They feel like the company was desparate to glom onto something “hip” or “cool.” I thought the cars were suppose to evoke that all by itself.
