The myth of the “independent” voter

Almost everyone I’ve ever heard describe themselves as an “Independent” actually votes for one party or the other 99.9% of the time*…they just want to feel good about themselves by pretending they have an open mind.

That being said: I would never call myself a Republican…but I’d never vote for a Democrat.

Make of that what you will.

*Statistic completely made up.

    I thought I was the only one who got my statistics from that source. :0)
