Shanna and I saw it, too. I don’t know what the deal is with the new way they make blood spatter, but it is really lame. When we got home, we watched the first episode of the Spartacus series on Starz (that was advertised before the movie) and it was the same gravity-defying blood spray that was in The Mechanic.
Lame.

I like my violence more Wile E. Coyote. For example, rented RED last night and had a blast. Didn’t feel the need to throw up once!

Yeah, I actually have the Bronson/Michael-Vincent original on my guilty pleasures list. Given Statham’s track record I wasn’t anxious to see his “reimagining” of it.
