The best Wisconsin blogger that I hardly ever read

February 9th, 2006

This is my apology to Peter Digaudio of Texas Hold ‘Em Blogger.

He’s an interesting, cialis sales viagra hard-working, here and provocative blogger.

And I hardly ever read him.

So…

…if I think his posts are well-researched, healing well-written and interesting, why don’t I read him more often than once a week or so?

Because he EXHAUSTS me.

I have the attention span of a four-year-old who has to pee.

Pete has so much to say that some of his posts could be graduate lectures.

So, Pete, if you’re out there, I want to apologize for not reading you more often.

You deserve better.

    Elliot,

This is a good tip for all bloggers. I’ve said before that I’m a headline scanner.

A monotonous headline attached to an essay is unlikely to suck me in, no matter what the topic is.

I TRY to give everyone the time they deserve, but my itchy trigger finger gets the best of me.

I try to mix it up. One liners and longer pieces. To each his own though..

I read you all the time, Fred.

And while I prefer to write very short posts myself that doesn’t mean I think everyone should write short posts.

Hell, sometimes even I’m forced into needing a whole paragraph.

And I’m definitely not criticizing Pete.

Guys like you and Pete who actually do some real reporting are much more valuable to the Cheddarsphere than I am.

Any monkey can write one liners.

(Except Micky Dolenz. I hear he has a fondness for Haiku.)

[…] The new look is so much easier on the eyes, I can almost imagine reading those crazy long posts now. […]
