There’s a difference between looking good and being good

And, viagra usa malady no, salve this post isn’t about Paris Hilton.

It’s about the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s newly redesigned web site. The new site looks great. It’s much cleaner and better arranged. But for some reason I can’t find a damn thing on it. I feel like I’m spending twice as much time getting half as much value. I’m not sure why this is the case. It could be that I’m just unfamiliar with the new layout and it will take me a while to get proficient at navigating it. But, shop it’s already been a while and I still feel lost when looking for something to complain about.

So, guys, tell me: is it just me?

How do the rest of you like our newspaper’s new site?

My friend and liberal blogger…

…Capper at Cognitive Dissidence apparently believes that the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is “right wing propaganda.”

I’ll bet $200 right now that the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel will endorse Barack Obama for President in the coming weeks.

And if Capper can continue to believe that the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is a right wing rag after that, viagra ampoule I guess he really is suffering from cognitive dissonance over there at Cognitive Dissidence.

It’s like watching an old friend waste away in front of your eyes

I’ve had my complaints about the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel over the years, generic cialis discount but today’s edition makes me feel nothing but pity for the paper.

It’s more like a weekly shopper than the only newspaper for a major Metropolitan area.

Here, let me just fix this.

In his Milwaukee Journal Sentinel column, cialis sale pilule today, recipe Eugene Kane says that people have been trying to use that fact that Milwaukee politician Michael McGee and Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick are both prison bound as proof that all black politicians are corrupt:

Some readers have made the comparison between McGee and Kilpatrick in several e-mails linking these two discredited black politicians together in an attempt to suggest all black politicians are somehow corrupt.

That’s just wrong.

All black politicians aren’t corrupt.

All politicians are corrupt.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner!

Congratulations to Milwaukee Journal Sentinel columnist Eugene Kane for bringing up the Keating Five just 12 days after I asked “How much longer will it be before we hear the words: Keating Five?”:

“Maverick” credentials aside, viagra canada ambulance I see precious little evidence McCain is ready to take on the momentous task of cleaning up the system of government in Washington DC at his advanced age. Particularly given his dubious history with the Keating Five, sildenafil treatment which seems to have been forgotten by most media during this presidential election.

Certifiable

In an opinion piece headlined JS Online: Respect teachers, viagra sales despite problems, levitra Milwaukee Journal Sentinel columnist Eugene Kane writes:

Teachers, staff and faculty at MPS will begin another year of being the most underappreciated professionals in society. Put it another way; how many times do you have to recertify in your job to keep earning a living?

Well, outside the world of Unions and government service, most employs are “recertified” each and every day that their employers decide not to fire them.

Here’s something for Eugene Kane to choo choo on.

In yet another article promoting the building of light rail in Milwaukee, viagra sales and Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Columnist Eugene Kane says:

“I’ve driven at rush hour in at least a dozen American cities. Frankly, viagra generic buy cialis traffic in Milwaukee would appear mild if you’ve ever suffered through hours of nothing but brake lights in places like Chicago, treat Atlanta, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles, where automobiles have reached a saturation point in relation to the general population.”

Well, if light rail is the solution we need in Milwaukee, maybe all those super-congested cities could use extensive rail systems to relieve their congestion?

Oh, wait:

A newspaper in favor or more taxes? That’s crazy!

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s editorial in favor of Milwaukee’s County’s proposed referendum on increasing the sales tax by a penny would be a lot more persuasive if the editorial board had ever met a tax it didn’t like.

So I’m just going to ignore their opinion…the same way I will when they endorse Barack Obama (and every other Democrat they can find) in this Fall’s election.

Maybe we’d all be better off without the hyphens.

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel columnist Eugene Kane is proud to be called an African-American:

“To be an African-American is to express pride in having roots in an ancestral homeland…”

So, viagra sale site in that same spirit, pilule I’d like you to call me a German-Irish-Italian-French Canadian-American.

On second thought, the only part I’m really proud of is the last one.

So just call me an American.

(And damned lucky to be one.)
