So, I got stopped by a cop last night for the first time since I started carrying a gun again

June 5th, 2012

I handed him my license and my permit and he handed the permit back with no comment.

No panic. No “where’s the weapon, sir?”

He was more interested in where my insurance card was.

And that’s the way it should be.

Burying the lede, I say. Why were you stopped?

Bank robbery or forgot to put the new registration sticker on the plate. One or the other.

You mean you didn’t shoot first and ask questions later? I thought all gun nuts were crazy cowboy-wannabes.
