Around 4:30 p.m. a man walked into the PyraMax bank at 1605 W. Mitchell St., displayed a weapon and demanded and left with cash, police said.Witnesses described him as a Hispanic male in his 40s, between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing between 150 and 160 pounds, wearing a blue baseball cap over short hair, police said.

Police said there is no evidence to suggest the robberies were connected.
