Headline in today’s Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: State turns deep shade of blue

In one history-making election, cialis sale prescription Wisconsin went from the purplest state in the nation to a deep, stuff wide blue.

As I said before the election, Wisconsin was NOT a purple state.

Quit saying it was.

Well, I guess it depends on how one defines a “purple” state. Our State Assembly was controlled by Republicans prior to the election, and in the last two presidential elections the margin of victory for the candidate that won this state was less than 15,000 votes. Additionally, we’ve got a Congressional delegation split between Democrats and Republicans.

I’m guessing that’s why folks thought of Wisconsin as a purple state.

Wisconsin hasn’t voted for a Republican President since the 1980s.

    Both Senators are Democrats.

The Democrats run two of the three major cities (I don’t know who the heck is running Green Bay) and they’re in complete control of state government.

Yes, the Assembly just turned, but even the bluest or reddest of states aren’t monolithic.

Hell, of the 8 or so races I voted for in Milwaukee County most were Democrats running unopposed.

But I see from going back to the comments on my previous post that you mostly agreed with me, then. So I’m not sure what we’re “arguing” about!! ;)

Could we refrain from using the color purple and anatomical references in the same sentence, please?
