A 25-year-old man was shot in the lower back after exchanging what police called dirty looks with another driver while traveling down Sherman Boulevard.

Police said the man was shot in the 4400 block of N. Sherman Blvd. about 7 p.m. while driving northbound. After exchanging looks with the driver in the car next to him, help the second driver pulled out a gun and fired a shot into the victim’s car, police said.

…happen even without concealed carry permits.

    True. And it certainly speaks out against having more guns on the streets, doesn’t it?

    Have you ever been in a real-life situation where one assbag had a gun out and thought, “This will only get better if someone else draws a gun?”

    Have you ever been had to stop at a stoplight on Capital Drive on a warm summer night and thought, “if one of these people pulls a gun on me, I’m screwed?” Because you would be.

    Did you see that story about the road-rage shooting in Alaska last week? No?

    Weird. Because you can carry concealed with no permit whatsoever up there. I mean, the Anchorage newspaper must be chock full of column after column of all the “gun violence” incidents suffered in such an unregulated environment. Perhaps the vast right-wing conspiracy is suppressing the truth from us again.

    But certainly the rash of shoot-outs in Vermont is in the news, no? I mean, they have the most relaxed “shall issue” concealed-carry permit laws in the lower 48. Surely, the streets of Montpelier are strewn with the corpses from the fallout of this sort of permissiveness. Ah, but the NRA is likely using their political clout to obfuscate the stories of the daily massacres that result from the reckless legalization of self-defense, and deference to that dusty old Constitution thingy…

    No Gravelle, but I have seen licensed CCW people arrested for murder in road rage incidents in New York, New Jersey, Michigan and Texas.

    But talking about higher populated areas kind of shoots your argument down, doesn’t it?

    Hmmm…. I have a carry permit. I have a gun. I get mad on the road sometimes, and odd….I’ve never shot anyone. Go figure.
