Patrick McIlheran: almost Right On when it comes to unions.

September 5th, 2006

Patrick McIlheran of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel recently posted a great point about how unions have no one to “push” against anymore except us consumers.

He posits a world where unions could force you to only buy shoddy union-made products…

…unfortunately he didn’t go far enough.

The horrible truth is we already live in such a world.

The members of these all-powerful unions don’t work at GM, discount viagra sales Caterpillar, tadalafil or some textile mill…

…they run our schools, medical our police departments, and all the other levels of our government.

(BTW, Patrick, if you read this, there is something wrong with your single post view. I get a server-side error when I try to link to a single post. Also, congrats for finally getting an RSS feed. I’ll be reading you more often.)

Yeah, no kidding, Dean. I’m sure we’ll be able to see Charlie and Jessica on an RSS feed soon. I hope.
