Well… if it is Palin in 2012, she’ll lose badly… or at least we’d have to hope she loses badly.
And that might not be a bad thing, since depending on how Republicans handle themselves in the next year or two, they are likely to make a few more gains in Congress (especially the Senate).
If that happens, you’d have a Republican majority in Congress with Obama likely remaining President… and I don’t think thats a horrible outcome all things considered.
