No matter how non-lethal the weapon is…

August 15th, 2007

…you’ll never be allowed to carry it to defend yourself.

Most states already make it illegal to carry stun guns or pepper spray under the theory that anything the can disable an attacker could also be used to enable an attack.

Because of this, tadalafil tadalafil I realized the other day that even if we had Star Trek-style phasers that stunned people with absolutely no long-term consequences, cialis no pain, and no injury, we STILL wouldn’t be allowed to carry them for self-defense.

The whole thing makes me want to put a real gun to my head.

Actually, a Star Trek-style phaser set to stun fired at point-blank range is lethal. Jeez…get your facts straight!

Only if aimed directly at the brain. And in your case, that target is so small I don’t think you have anything to worry about. ;)

Then I would have to taunt Mike with

“Phasers don’t stun people People stun people.”

personally I am not dropping the money unless I can set my phaser to annihilate.

Hell I think I would rather have a Klingon disrupter more painful ;)

But real men use a Batleth ;)

If I could ever get a phaser, it would have to be modifiable so that I could set it to “vaporize to so many pieces that not even a CSI team could find anything.”

    Or something like that.
