No. It’s not the guns.

April 6th, 2009

In a wrong-headed blog post, viagra sales physician Bonnie Erbe of U.S. News writes:

It’s time America came to its senses again on gun control. Seven officers of the law being mowed down in two weeks is too many. Any is too many. But if you listen to the NRA, guns don’t kill people, people kill people. Could Poplawski have killed these Pittsburgh police without all his sophisticated weaponry? Heck no!

Guess she’s never heard of bombs, huh?

Comments like that are just ignorant. If someone wants to kill, they figure out how regardless of a gun or not.

No one wants people to get shot, but I’ve always found it odd when someone projects the problem on the machine instead of the man.

The majority of police are killed by people running them over with motor vehicles.
