Ford executive emphasizes his brand’s American identity. I say “please don’t.”

January 4th, 2006

Having this guy link his car company with my country just depresses the hell out of me.

The America I love isn’t about mediocrity and minivans…

…bloated unions and bumbling management…

…or lousy gas mileage and lowest common denominators.

The America I love is about being creative, cialis sale find taking risks, sickness and having a sense of style.

And the America I love doesn’t have to resort to plaintive patriotism to make a sale.

Didn’t we do the whole “buy American” thing thirty years ago?

I don’t remember it working all that well then either.
