Myth BUSting?

How can Milwaukee possibly have one of the best bus systems in the country? I thought evil Scott Walker completely destroyed it!

The study by the Washington, tadalafil purchase nurse D.C., troche think thank, found that 67 percent of area residents, including 100 percent of those living in the city of Milwaukee, have reasonable access to public transit, compared with an average of 69 percent for the top 100 metro areas. The researchers defined reasonable access to transit as having a bus stop within three-fourths of a mile from a resident’s home.

The average wait time for a bus during rush hour in the Milwaukee area is 6.4 minutes, compared with a nationwide average of 10.1 minutes, according to the report.

Obviously, you can thank the county board for salvaging what is left, but you fail to note that due to Walker’s insistence on raising fares and cutting service, ridership has dropped by 18%, three times the average rate.

When WISGOP is done, you’ll have over 40,000 people separated from jobs, mostly in the suburbs.

    How is that good?

Yeah, our parks sucked too, that’s why they won that big award last year.

This story fits nicely with the story in the JS today:
Milwaukee County bus ridership sinks further

Are you referring to the one based on a video? The one where they never actually came to Milwaukee?

But if you feel that way, send in your $300K so we can repair the damage done by Walker’s neglect. Surely, you won’t mind, since it’s not so much.

Follow the BadgerBlogger logic: If our bus system or park system is award-winning, let’s cut ’em.

Wow, look at the steam coming out the left’s ears whenever something positive comes out about Walker.
I think if Walker found a cure for AIDS, cancer, strokes and heart attacks, they will still find a way to bitch and moan about it.

Walker gets caught in another lie, Dan calls it positive for Walker, and we all feel smarter for it.

Facts mean nothing to the left. Walker ruined the parks and bus system, now run along…

Denial is not just a river in Egypt, eh, TerryN?

I see capper, you are using other people’s blogs to take shots at me. Classy crapper.
