“The war will pay for itself…”

As usual, you have that backwards John. That was a Liberal meme that claimed President Bush was going to plunder all that oil from Iraq. Typical revisionist history writing…just like the claim that Bush was the only person in the World who thought Saddam had WMDs.

You say it was a liberal who said that? Look it up.

As for WMDs, when the CIA told Bush that Hussein didn’t have them, Bush had some other super-secret reliable source?

Yes, I’m assuming the people carrying signs of “No War for Oil” were liberals.

The quote is “There’s a lot of money to pay for this. It doesn’t have to be U.S. taxpayer money. We are dealing with a country that can really finance its own reconstruc¬≠tion, and relatively soon.”

Come on, Fred and Roland, who said that?
