    Senator, I know George Bush; George Bush is a friend of mine. Senator, I’m no George Bush.

    The amusing thing is I actually felt like McCain and Company came up with that line before the debate hoping exactly for another Reagan moment with it. That was exactly the first thing that came to my mind when I heard it, as well.

    Of course, I think he delivered it rather weakly and transparently so it didn’t really have the effect he hoped for.

    Damn the lack of an editor. And yeah, I meant Bush moment though I think it was during the VP debate anyway.
