It’s time for Brett to say bye-bye.
April 8th, 2006
I’m not a big football fan.
(I grew up in Buffalo and the third or fourth Superbowl loss made me swear off the sport forever.)
But I still know enough to realize the best thing Brett Favre could do for the Packers would be to leave.
It’s simple:
The team is in a rebuilding phase.
If Brett stays now, generic viagra mind he’ll be leaving (or well past his prime) just as the team is ready to be a serious contender again.
If he leaves, health the team can focus on finding their quarterback of the future.
Brett’s done a phenominal job for the Packers, but now it’s time for him to stop passing footballs and start passing the torch.
