Former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge said Sunday he thinks Republicans would accept a vice presidential candidate who supports abortion rights.

    Ironically, I’m sure that when Obama picks a pro-choice VP, we’ll be treated to days of lament from the right (perhaps even from this very blog!) how Obama missed an opportunity to reach out to the middle.

    I am waiting to see how the “most liberal” Senator will find the “most liberal” whomever he picks. He could pick David Duke, Rush into Limbo, or Scott Walker, and the right wing would be calling that person a liberal. Which would be funny, come to think of it.
