  It’s a corporate synergy thing. They’ll make the movie of Heat Wave next and then release the soundtrack and Blu-Ray of the movie along with a novelization of the movie made from the book based on the TV show. And all of them can appear together on talk shows produced by the parent company.

  I’m pretty sure that Stearns guy has the same thing planned.

  I am enjoying the TV show, though. “Rick Castle” dressing as “Captain Mal” for Halloween was priceless. As was the daughter’s comment: Wasn’t that from like four years ago?
