In some ways, the real crime is how little we can trust our politicians.

In a story about the incredible failure of his administration to control crime in Milwaukee, cialis usa diagnosis Mayor Tom Barrett said:

“If people want more police officers, then we’re going to have to pay for them,” he said. “The irony is many of the people who push the loudest for more police officers are the same ones who refuse to pay for them.”

We don’t mind paying for cops. (A fact that politicians understand very well. That’s why they always trot out the firemen and cops whenever anyone talks about making tax cuts.)

The thing is, we know that the politicians will say they want more money to pay for cops and the next thing you know they’ll be cutting the ribbon on a brand new trolley to nowhere somewhere downtown.
