I’m proud to have Paul Ryan running for Vice President

But I still think Rubio would have been the better pick.

How long will it take for them to blame Ryan for someone else’s death? This is going to be the ugliest, filthiest campaign in my lifetime. I just hope the repub super pacs don’t try to sink to the level their competition has. They’ve gone too far a few times, though, not quite as low. Yet. I am not confident on that.

I too think Rubio would have been a great pick. Better than Ryan? I don’t know. Both are very intelligent, articulate gentlemen.

Filthy campaigning afoot? Well, it could be entertaining. One thing we saw in the Walker recall was a bunch of libs tripping over each other on their race to the bottom. Despite all the horn blowing, drum beating and over-the-top rhetoric, Walker stayed on message and kept it about 80-90% positive. He prevailed over an opponent who was nothing but negative. My advice to Romney/Ryan is to follow Walker’s campaigning example.

It is possible to go too negative. Now that the truth about the “Romney killed my wife” ads has come out…Obama’s chalked up yet another harmful blunder. Mitt/Paul, stay the course!
