I’m not all that concerned about whether or not Al Gore is a hypocrite…

…for consuming an unusually large amount of energy.

What bothers me is this:

A spokeswoman for Gore said he purchases enough “green power” – renewable energy sources such as solar, viagra thumb wind and methane gas – to balance 100 percent of his electricity costs.

So, best viagra nurse if you’re rich enough to spend lots of money to offset your enormous energy footprint, it’s OK to consume gigantic amounts of energy to heat your pool?

When F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote, “The rich are different from the rest of us,” Ernest Hemingway supposed responded, “yes, they have more money.”

I suppose nowadays he would be compelled to say, “yes, they have more megawatts.”
