I’ll be stunned if we ever get the right to use one.

Imagine a non-lethal stun gun that didn’t need wires and could shoot accurately and effectively at a range of over almost 500 feet…
The sad thing is ‚Äì why I can easily imagine such a device ‚Äì I can’t imagine the political left ever conceeding us the right to carry one for self-defense.

You don’t need a stun gun. They now have directed energy weapons. It’ll make people run… It heats a point on your skin VERY rapidly.

You’re right. You’ll never get one.
Police train to use them and they still manage to kill people.

But they kill them a lot less often than they do if they shoot them with a bullet.

I don’t know. Ever read news stories where the cops fired 40 or 50 rounds, and only get 1-5 hits? They use automatics, spray and pray mentality. I read an account once of 2 cops in LA who pulled a guy over. He came out with a .357, they pull their 9mm’s. He fires 6 rounds, 5 hits. They fire 40, 1 hit. Spray and pray is deadly to by-standers. Gun control is hitting your target. Not enough emphasis on that.

“The present invention provides a non-lethal projectile”.
One more time, non-lethal.
However, the left will be concerned about making someone feel uncomfortable.
