You’re under the assumption that the sole reason Brown won was because the voters were against the national health care reform.

    You’re conveniently ignoring:
    1. Coakley ran a horrible campaign.
    2. Massachusetts polls showed that people who voted based on health care reform tended to slightly favor Coakley.
    3. The national health care bill is largely based on Massachusetts’ existing health care policies which is relatively well supported among Massachusetts voters.

I’d have to say that I personally would avoid stating that Brown won due to lack of health care reform support as a fact because, well, it’s quite difficult to make that logical leap.
